Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra Treatment in Gurugram
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) is a skin condition that appears as tiny, dark or skin-colored bumps on the face, neck, and upper torso. These bumps, measuring 1–5 millimeters in diameter, are smooth, firm, and can be black, dark brown, or skin-colored. DPN typically begins in adolescence and can increase in number and size with age.
The condition is not cancerous and does not cause pain or discomfort. However, some people may choose to have the bumps removed for cosmetic reasons. DPN can be diagnosed clinically and does not require further testing unless there is doubt about the diagnosis. Treatment is usually not necessary unless the bumps are bothersome, and various methods, such as cryotherapy, electrodesiccation, and laser treatments, can be used to remove the bumps.
